Always use your inversion table with tennis shoes (not high-tops though). Assuring that your shoe is tied snugly before inverting helps your experience is comfortable and as safe as possible.

Re: FAQ Friday: How can I make my ankles more comfortable?

What about bare feet? Does he still have some pain? Did he ever try Chiropractic adjustments to the spine in addition to the inversion. Was the original diagnosis from an MRI? Has there been a repeat MRI that show's there's still 2 herniated discs? I would love to do a study of people with confirmed disc herniations via MRI and then do repeatstudies after 3- months of inversion. One group with just inversion and the other group with inversion and Chiropractic adjustments. Any takers?

Re: FAQ: Can I Invert with Fused Vertebrae?

Thanks Dr. Gonzalez for your insight. As a reminder, we encourage every customer to consult their medical professional before invert.

There was a study by Daniel Murphy, DC, FACO who wanted to find out if Inversion helps to naturally ‘pull’ the vertebrae back into alignment. His study took place over 10 years with 30 patients and measured disc height & anteriolisthesis. What he found was that patients who used inversion average amount of reduction was 7 mm in patients with spondylolytic anteriolisthesis. Dr. Murphy concluded that within 10 minutes, the anterilolysthesis was completely reduced, and the longer you hang, the more it’s reduce.

Customers have also told us about their personal success with inversion and Spondylolisthesis. In 2008 we heard from Jimmy who said, "In January of this year, after more than a year of discomfort before that, I was diagnosed with two herniated discs and Spondylolisthesis. My Neurosurgeon wanted to schedule surgery immediately. I wanted to make sure this was the correct path and looked for alternatives. I found a service which provided inversion therapy (actually traction), but they wanted several thousand dollars for the complete course of “therapy”.

"Then, I saw a “Teeter” commercial.

"I purchased a 9000 in April and have used it almost every day since. My current routine is 10 to 15 minutes twice a day with crunches, twists and pull-ups. I have come from constant pain to winning my age group in a 10k race last Sunday. Obviously, the problem has not been eradicated, but I’d call that one heck of an improvement!! Thank you very much!

"I am constantly promoting the benefits of inversion therapy to anyone who will listen

"Once again, I thank you for your marvelous device!"

I have had this question asked by many patients over the years. Unfortunately, most surgeons are not familiar with Inversion. It is up to you to help educate them on this marvelous treatment. I have successfully used inversion on many failed post surgical patients including fusion. I always wait at least 6 months before trying inversion with fusion patients. Patients who have had laminectomies can attempt inversion much sooner. Every case is different as every patient has their own set of circumstances. If you are really sick and tired of being in pain, taking pills the surgery didn't provide the pain relief you were hoping for then you need to take matters into your hands and insist your surgeon work with you on this. If he/she is unwilling get another doctor. Read all the testimonials on this blog and on Teeter HangUps Facebook page from patients who have had similar experiences. If you have any questions I would be happy to try and help you. You can send me an email at drcmgonzalez50@yahoo.com or look me up on facebook DrCarlos Gonzalez.

Re: FAQ: Can I Invert with Fused Vertebrae?

Do you know of any customer who is using th eTeeter Hang Up that has Spondylolisthesis? Thanks.

Re: Debuting Tomorrow Morning: New Teeter Infomercial!

Hi Mayra,

The Lumbar Bridge has been very popular. You can order it two ways right: 1) HSN.com should have it loaded back on their website within the next day or two, or 2) contact Teeter Customer Service and let them know you want to order a Lumbar Bridge. Customer Service can be reached toll free at (800) 847-0143. Section option 3 to order.

I apologize it is not on our site yet. We are currently redesigning parts of the site that display products. We hope to have all of our new products on our website shortly.

Re: Debuting Tomorrow Morning: New Teeter Infomercial!

I ordered the teeter table from HSN and tried to order the lumbar bridge but it was sold out, how can I order it. My daughter started hanging at age 4 simply because she would watch me hang everyday. She mainly did it because she thought it would be fun. As far as for scoliosis a combination of inversion and a good Chiropractor would be the best course of treatment. The Chiropractor can also advise on proper posture and specific exercises for helping correct the scoliosis etc.

Re: Teeter Goes RAW

*write*

Re: FAQ Friday: How To Exercise On Your Teeter

well....very useful site, who wants to loss weight or fat, there are many tips for the weight loss and maintain good health and fitness....

Re: FAQ Friday: How To Exercise On Your Teeter

Very clean awesome exercises.
